Users' Manual:

Comics and illustrations from a friendly neighborhood cloister, for anyone and everyone!
Each comic/illustration will be tagged with its characters or subject, so head on to the archives if you're looking for something specific.
Some comics and illustrations here are of my own book characters; even so, I try my best to make the jokes understandable to everyone. So don't be wary of any comic! And if in doubt, read any text to a post.
Also, for any post, click on the image and it will bring you to its original size. This may prove helpful for reading text bubbles, or simply if you want to go mad at the detail of sharpie strokes. It's your call.

Clothing Switch!

My book characters' clothing is pretty routine. Robes, tunics, kurtas, that sort of thing. So I wondered what they'd wear if they had modern clothes.
Pictured from left to right...
Hayaku, wearing baggy clothes because even in the book, his clothes are twice his size and he likes it that way.
Sarikah, wearing amazing maternity clothes and all their stretchy wonder because she's pregnant.
Yusu, wearing a load of tie-dye because she always wears flowy, bohemian clothes. (Even in the book; she wears caftans and sandalwood beads in her hair.)
Aya, wearing manly clothes for manly men. Because he is manly, dammit. (This is a running gag in the book; he's always over-asserting his manliness. Why? Because Amaya emasculates him somehow.)
Me, wearing what royal women might wear in the book.
Lochan, wearing scrubs because they're for doctors, which he is one.
Amaya, wearing sexy nightclub jeans. Because he'll be damned if he doesn't look hot.
